This is how Bill describes his
work
"I believe that we are more than mind and body – we are
spiritual beings on a human journey. Because of this, I feel that when we reach out to help, we must integrate all three elements i.e. Mind, Body and Spirit. I have been practising this approach with it’s spiritual dimension, for a number of years and I find it makes my work much more interesting and - of course – more effective.
Therapy is not about mind control – it is about awareness. As a therapist, the more aware you are about yourself, and subsequently your client and his / her needs, the more effective you will be. It
all comes down to respect – respect for the place your client is in right now, and where he /she would like to be in the future. It is
not about your desire for them. Throughout the course, I teach different techniques in which the student learns to become more self-aware and then use these techniques with the client.
I have found throughout the course, the students not only learn about how to be a Hypnotherapist, but also more and more about themselves as people.
One of the requirements I ask of my students is to attend with a sense of fun and curiosity. After all, it is all part of our own spiritual
journey"
